Monday evening gears it’s unexpected head after a long grueling day of tedious work where to-do lists don’t get the full attention I’d expected when I rolled out of bed this morning. Although plenty of things were crossed off signaling for a successful day, it is still troublesome when you realize it is the second missed deadline. These days are full of unexpected twists and turns in directions that take you off course; that’s not a new thing. Keeping up with tasks and responsibilities helps keeps the brain happy. My brain is busy but tired. This happens to us all when life demands you pay the time you owe and as you may realize a tired brain doesn’t produce beautiful words. They may not be the best words but they are the current ones. I have always loved being busy but it doesn’t always love me. So cheers to staying busy and getting things done and here’s to a better success rate for meeting these writing deadlines I give myself. I’m still here and I’m still passionate about it. Like a beautiful koi fish in a river, we all continue to keep swimming with the flow of the river.
